Her efforts also include enhancing the skills of artisans, ensuring that they can sustain their livelihoods, and fostering stability within their communities. The people of Kashmir have long faced a challenging humanitarian crisis, marked by political conflict and human rights violations. Calls for justice emphasize the need for freedom of expression, protection from unlawful detention, and the right to live without fear. International human rights organizations urge global attention to issues such as restricted access to information, suppression of peaceful protests, and violations against civilians.
We started our journey from Karachi to Tharparkar, the largest district of the Sindh province. During our eight-hour long drive, we witnessed a dramatic shift in the landscape — from high-rise buildings and ring roads to slum settlements, and finally to the endless, arid desert land of Tharparkar.
Tharparkar, though rich in culture and tradition, remains one of the most impoverished regions in Pakistan. Poverty is deeply rooted here
The devastating floods in Sindh have brought immense suffering to thousands of families across the province. Torrential monsoon rains triggered severe flooding, submerging entire villages, displacing communities, and destroying homes, crops, and infrastructure. The impact has been catastrophic, particularly for daily wage earners and rural communities who were already vulnerable. Access to clean water, food, and shelter has become a major challenge for the affected population.
Our initiatives aim to address critical health challenges by providing resources, raising awareness, and fostering healthier lifestyles. From preventive care and health education to supporting access to essential medical services, we are dedicated to ensuring that health becomes a right, not a privilege.
As part of our commitment to social welfare, we provide monthly ration packages to elderly, retired, and ailing artists who are no longer able to support themselves. This initiative ensures they receive essential nutrition and dignity in their daily lives. By honoring their contributions to art and culture, we aim to support their well-being and help them live with respect and comfort.
